Here at Vis Doodles, we strive to make our buying process as easy and transparent as possible. From the time a deposit is placed until the puppy leaves our care and beyond, we’re committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for both you and the puppy.
So, you’ve found your new canine friend. Now what?
Deposits and Payments
We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve our Labradoodles and a $500 non-refundable deposit for our Bernedoodles. Deposits are credited toward the purchase price of the puppy upon pickup. We accept deposits via Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp, or cash.
Final payment for puppies being picked up at our property is due before the puppy leaves. For puppies being delivered, we require final payment to be made 5 days before the planned delivery date. The final purchase price of the puppy and the delivery fee will be paid at this time. Final payment can be made via PayPal, Venmo, or cash. We do not accept checks of any kind for final payment.
Selection Process
You’ve already made a deposit, and the litter you’re interested in is now 4 weeks old. It’s time to choose the specific puppy that will soon become a part of your family. To begin the selection process, we will start with the first person on the waiting list for each color and gender. We’ll reach out to you to discuss how you would like to proceed with your selection.
We offer several options to accommodate different preferences and schedules. The first option is an in-person visit to our home, where you can meet the puppies firsthand and choose the one that best fits your family. We’ll work together to find a convenient time for both parties, understanding that this may not always be feasible due to busy schedules.
Alternatively, we offer a video call option. We’ll schedule a mutually convenient time for a video call where we can introduce you to the puppies. You’ll be able to watch them play and interact, which can help you make your decision.
Lastly, if visiting or a video call isn’t possible, we can provide you with current pictures of the puppies. We’ll be available to answer any questions you have and provide insights based on our experience with past litters. Our goal is to assist you in choosing the perfect companion for your family.
Please let us know which option works best for you, and we’ll ensure a smooth and personalized selection process for your new puppy.
Pickup and Delivery
Your puppy is now 8 weeks old and ready to go home to its new family. We offer a couple of different options to safely transport the puppy to your home.
The first option is to drive to our property and pick up the puppy. We will schedule a time for everyone to come and pick up their puppy either on the day the puppies turn 8 weeks old or the following week. Please note that we do not offer pickups or deliveries on Sundays.
Alternatively, we can deliver the puppy by car. We charge $1.50 per mile for one direction. You can choose whether we deliver the puppy directly to your home or meet at a public area somewhere in between. We are also able to meet you at a local airport if you prefer to fly out to collect the puppy and return with it.
Our final delivery option is by airplane. We can transport puppies in cargo on a commercial flight, or we can arrange for a puppy nanny to accompany the puppy on the journey to a local airport near you!
